Summer at Hogwarts - Whats your house?

Now that Summer at Hogwarts has officially started I hope some of you have dived into Sorcerers Stone. Of course one of the important points in the first third of the book is that of being sorted into houses. I always thought the idea of sorting people based on personality traits interesting, mostly because it would never work in the real world, but it is done so charmingly in this book.

This brings me to my next Summer Quiz: Where would the sorting hat put you? Not where you would put yourself or where other people think you should go at first glance, but if you were to really look at yourself where would you go?

In case you're wondering, here's the passage from the Sorting Hat song that talks about the houses.
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

So what are you- lion,  serpent, badger or eagle?

When I was an annoying preteen first reading the books I really wanted to make myself a Slytherin because it seemed so cool to be bad. It would be like being the femme fatale in a Noir film. Of course i'm not very confident or cunning and would, in reality (or the suspended reality we're existing in here) other Slytherin's would just eat me up and spit me out. No, in reality I'm meant for Ravenclaw where I can safely learn from books and always have a few extra facts to impress while watching Jeopardy.

Keep Reading!

I would be either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw (probably Ravenclaw).

I know everyone says Gryffindor, but really, I'd be a Gryffindor.

I'd either be a Gryffindor for bravery, or Ravenclaw for wit.

Most likely, it would be Ravenclaw. =)

Remember back in the day when random online quizzes were the thing to do? Like, before the really lame facebook ones? Well I remember taking one where it sorted you. While I don't remember what my answer was, I remember being unpleased with it & taking it again until I got Gryffindor, haha, because that was definitely the cool house!

Now that I think about it though, I think I would be put in Ravenclaw. I'm quite studious & enjoy learning. And while I enjoy adventures, I don't think bravery is a characteristic I possess. Only thing is, they have riddles to solve in order to enter the common room (see book 7) and I think I may be the Neville who gets locked out quite often. : / I'm glad as muggles we've invented keys!

While it's quite the most unpopular of houses in some circles, I know for sure that I would be in Hufflepuff. When I was younger I wanted to be in Gryffindor, like Harry and Ron and Hermione, but as I got older I favored the two less popular houses (Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff) but I could never tell which was for me. But as I got older and more books came out and we learned more about the other houses, I found myself drawn to Hufflepuff. While I'm smart, that's not the thing I value the most, and all the stuff in the later books about Hufflepufff seemed to make the decision for me. :)

I don't know why people seem to think Hufflepuffs are pushovers, though. We have a badger mascot - badgers are terrifying mustelids.

Hi, I went for Ravenclaw, or Huffelpuff.

I posted about the summer of Harry here, I also included my answer to the other question you asked a few days ago

I just don't know. I would definitely not be in Slytherin - probably Hufflepuff or Gryffindor but cannot say for sure.
