Table Talk Tuesday

CMash Loves to Read is starting a new Tuesday Meme called Table Talk Tuesdays that has book bloggers getting to know each other, inspired by the idea of friends meeting over a cup of coffee and talking about their lives.
Cmash Loves to Read”=
So without further adieu here are my 3 tidbits/questions -

1. What are you reading right now? I know it's a bit of a generic question but I'm having a hard time picking anything up and staying interested in it, so I'd love to hear what's caught your attention.

2. My favorite place to meet people is at a coffee shop. It doesn't even have to be a cute, locally owned one, Starbucks is fine with me.

3. In addition to Loving Books I have a blog over on Livejournal. I have written in it every day for almost two years (September 8th will be the actual day. YIKES). I try to write a bit about my life every day but lately I seem to only be able to get out a couple of vague sentences before bed alluding to how tired I am and how little i want to work/go to school/do things in general. If I overlook my sometimes less than stellar content it is one of the things I'm most proud of.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear (ok, read)  what you think

Hi Sarah,
1. I am reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest, which I like. But I just finished the three books of the Hunger Games - in about a week and they were excellent!
2. I work in a library so I meet plenty of people every day and would love to go to a coffee shop but don't seem to find the time.
3. I think that is phenomenal that you write every day in a journal. One day you will look back at these days and be delighted that you kept track - even of the mundane. I always try to find one thing that delights me every day and make note of that (in a paper journal).

Have a wonderful week.

Buona sera! I should probably post this on my blog, too, huh? :)

1. Currently reading for the Crazy Book Tours Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict -- LOVE IT so far!

2. I work so much that I never have time to meet anyone other than co-workers! I travel for my job and am on the road frequently, so I inevitably end up meeting people in the airport!!

3. I am very inconsistent with my journal! Handwritten and by the bed!

Great to meet you!!

I am reading Footsteps Kathleen MacMahon (Author of Rose of Sebastapol)
......and one that needs to be back at the library very soon The Fairytale of New York.

I dont get to meet up with my mates for coffee often enough. Most of my mates are out at work with teens, and I am at home again with a toddler (and teens). :)

I have enough to keep me going with one blog let alone two. My hardback handwritten reading diary is being neglected these days and has loads of loose notes in it.

Hi Sarah..so glad we could meet for coffee/tea!!
1. I am reading "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake" but I seem to be in a mini reading slump...hope it doesn't last...have to many books in my requested review pile.
2. I love meeting friends for coffee/lunch. However, epecially in the summer we meet at each others' houses and sit outside with our Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. A couple of weeks ago, I got to do it with a friend I havene't seen in a few months and we talked and talked and talked, about everyting for hours. I even think we solved world problems lol.
3. Wow..good for you!! 2 blogs? I can't keep up with 1 and reading requested reviews. How do you manage all that PLUS working, going to school and everyday life. That is the one thing I am in awe of other bloggers...how they do it all. Might be a good question for next week's table talk.
Thank you for participating and hope we can meet up again next week for coffee and catch up.

Hi Sarah.

1. I'm reading Robert F Kennedy: A Memoir right now. It's on my list for a reading challenge. But I've always been interested in RFK. I think he's the most interesting of the Kennedy brothers.

2. Not much into coffee shops...unless they also serve good hot chocolate (which for me means that it _doesn't_ taste like it was run through the coffee machine).

3. I'm with Cheryl...I don't think I could possibly keep up with two blogs. Barely manage one.
